How it works

See it in action.

01

Record and do the task

Click the EasyAgent icon, hit record, then use the page exactly like you always do — click buttons, fill in fields, tick a box. Stop recording and every step is saved, in order.

02

Paste Excel data and map fields

Export the recording template, paste your rows straight from Excel, then match each column to the field it belongs to — no separate mapping screen, no reformatting your sheet first.

03

Replay in bulk and on a timer

Run it once, or hit Execute and EasyAgent fills in the form for every row in your sheet, one after another. Or set a timer — 15 minutes to 24 hours — and let it run itself from here on.

The spreadsheet part

One macro. Every row.

Export the recording template, fill in your rows in Excel, then paste it back. EasyAgent replays the whole recording once per row and shows progress as it runs — and the saved macro is ready to go again next time.

Starter template
One field per row, with no complicated mapping screen to learn.
Any size
Four rows or four hundred, EasyAgent works through them one after another.
Auto-load
Save a named macro and EasyAgent recognises the data when you use it again.

Batch tools

Built for big batches.

Hundreds of rows shouldn’t mean crossing your fingers. Test first, watch it step by step, and pick up exactly where a run stopped.

Dry run, then the rest

Test row 1 first. Run remaining then starts at row 2, so nothing is entered twice.

Retry failed rows

Re-run only the rows that failed. The results update in place.

Resume after a stop or crash

Progress is saved after every row, so a closed browser doesn’t mean starting over.

Results sheet

Copy or download your rows with a status, an error and any captured values for each.

Step through

Pause before every step, with the element it will use outlined on the page.

Speed control

Fast for quick sites, Slow or Very slow for ones that lag after every click.

Built-in values

{{today}}, {{today+7}}, {{row}} and {{random}} fill in dates and unique codes for you.

Share macros

Send a macro as a small file. A teammate imports it in one click.

Macro recorder

Show it once, the way you normally would.

Press record and use the site as usual. Each click, field and tick becomes a step you can rename, reorder, or link to a column in your sheet — then replay it whenever you like. New to this? Read what a browser macro recorder does.

A shareable library
Save as many macros as you like, sorted into groups, and share any one as a file.
Steps in plain English
“Type into email”, “Click Save” — easy to check and edit.
Edit any value
Change what a step types, or use {{today}} and {{row}} for values that change.
Extract

Don't just automate clicks. Extract the results.

Add Extract or Screenshot steps anywhere in a macro. Every run can return text and tables as CSV, or capture the page as a PNG.

Schedule

Set a time. Get on with your day.

Choose a saved macro and how often it should run — every 15 minutes up to once a day, from a start time you pick. Each run is written to a log you can download.

No AI

Recorded steps, not a guess.

EasyAgent replays exactly what you recorded — the same click, on the same element, every single time. There's no model deciding what to click on the fly, which means there's nothing to hallucinate, and nothing metered per run.

Private by default

No account. No ads. Nothing leaves your computer.

EasyAgent has no servers to send anything to. Your macros and spreadsheets stay in Chrome, and your exports land in your own Downloads folder.

Nothing uploaded

Recordings, pasted rows, extracted data and screenshots never leave your machine.

No sign-up

Install it and press record. There's no account to create and no email to hand over.

No ads, no tracking

The extension shows no ads and sends nothing back to us — not even usage stats.

Passwords stay secret

Typing into a password field is recorded as a step, but what you typed is never saved or exported.

Use cases

Made for jobs that arrive as a list.

Update a list of records

Change prices, stock or statuses across hundreds of pages from one sheet — each row can open its own URL.

Set up a batch of new users

New starters, customers or products — one row each, entered into the admin panel for you.

Pull a report every morning

Open the dashboard, set the filters, export. Scheduled to finish before you sit down.

Copy a table out of a page

An Extract Table step saves every row on the page as a CSV you can open in Excel.

Test a form with many inputs

Feed the same form 50 different values to see which ones it rejects.

Keep a visual record

Screenshot a page every few hours to track how it changes over time.

FAQ

Common questions.

What is a browser macro recorder?
A browser extension that watches what you do on a website — clicks, typing, checkboxes, dropdowns — and saves it as a list of steps it can replay for you. EasyAgent can replay a macro once, on a schedule, or once for every row of a spreadsheet. More on browser macros.
Does it work in Firefox?
Yes. EasyAgent is on both the Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons, with the same features. In Firefox it opens as a toolbar popup instead of a side panel. See the Firefox guide.
Do I need to write code?
No. If you can use the website, you can make a macro — EasyAgent writes down each step as you do it.
How does the spreadsheet part work?
Export the recording template from the Data tab — one row per field EasyAgent recorded. Add a column per configuration in Excel, then paste it back, and the macro runs once per row. The Batch Data Builder tool can build that template for you.
How many rows can I run?
As many rows as your sheet contains. Runs happen one after another in your own browser.
Can I keep more than one macro?
Yes. Save each macro under its own name in the Macros library, sort them into groups, and load any one in a click. Share a macro as a small file, and a teammate imports it in one click.
Can I test before running every row?
Yes. Dry run tries just the first row; if it works, Run remaining carries on from row 2 so nothing is entered twice. You can pause a run, step through it one step at a time, and retry only the rows that failed.
Some fields only appear when a checkbox is ticked — can it handle that?
Yes. Link the checkbox to a yes/no column, then set the fields it reveals to “only run if that column is ticked”. On rows marked no, the box is unticked and those fields are skipped — not counted as failures.
Does it stay open while I work?
Yes. In Chrome, EasyAgent opens as a side panel next to the page, so it stays put while you record and run. Prefer a popup? Switch it on the Advanced tab.
Can it run on a schedule?
Yes — every 15 minutes up to every 24 hours, or a custom interval. Scheduled runs are written to a downloadable log.
Does it work on pages behind a login?
Yes. Macros run in your own browser in your existing session. Passwords are never recorded.
Where is my data stored?
In your browser's local extension storage. Nothing is uploaded.
Do I need an account?
No. Install and start recording.
Are there ads or tracking?
No. The extension shows no ads and doesn't send usage data anywhere. The only web requests it makes are the pages and links your macro visits.
Alternatives

Weighing up other tools?

iMacros alternative

iMacros was discontinued in 2022 and pulled from the Chrome Web Store in 2024 — see what maps to what if you're migrating a macro.

Power Automate Desktop alternative

Windows-only and built for whole-desktop RPA. If your task lives entirely in the browser, here's a lighter option — and when Power Automate is still the right call.

Axiom.ai alternative

Axiom.ai's free plan is metered by runtime hours and scheduling needs a paid plan — EasyAgent is free and unmetered, with scheduling included.

UI.Vision RPA alternative

UI.Vision is a capable free/open-source macro recorder, but it's command-based and scheduling relies on your OS — see the point-and-click, built-in-scheduling comparison.

Selenium IDE alternative

Selenium IDE is built for QA test authoring — no built-in CSV looping or scheduler. See what maps to what if your goal is spreadsheet-driven bulk replay.

Automa alternative

Automa is a free, open-source block-canvas automation tool with strong scheduling — here's the comparison if you'd rather skip the block canvas.

Bardeen alternative

Bardeen's free plan is metered by credits and requires an account — EasyAgent is free, unmetered, and account-free.

Browserflow alternative

Browserflow's free plan caps each run in your browser at 1 minute — EasyAgent has no time limits, so a long spreadsheet batch runs to the end.

Replayo alternative

Replayo replays the values you recorded and emails results. EasyAgent runs the macro once per spreadsheet row, on Chrome and Firefox.
