Spreadsheet to website

Auto-fill web forms from Excel

Got a spreadsheet of records and a web form that takes them one at a time? Fill in the form once while EasyAgent records, paste your rows, and it types every row into the form for you.

FREE · NO ACCOUNT · NO COPY-PASTING ROW BY ROW

Why not a normal autofill extension? Autofill tools fill the same saved profile into a form — your name, your address. EasyAgent fills a different record each time, straight from your spreadsheet, and clicks Save for you, row after row.

Walkthrough

From spreadsheet to submitted forms

Six steps

  1. 1

Record the form once. Open the form, press Start new recording, fill it in with any example values and click Save. Press Stop recording.

  2. 2

Link fields to columns. Tap a field step and choose a column instead of the value you typed. Fields you don’t link repeat the recorded value on every row.

  3. 3

Paste your rows. Copy the rows from Excel and paste them on the Data tab, or drop a .xlsx, .xls or .csv file. A normal table with headers works.

  4. 4

Dry run. EasyAgent fills and submits the first row only, so you can check the result.

  5. 5

Run remaining. It carries on from row 2, re-opening the form before each row. Pause, slow it down or step through if you need to.

  6. 6

Check the results sheet. Copy your rows back with a status column (Done, Failed or Not run) and the reason for any failure. Retry only the failed rows.

Every kind of field

What goes in your spreadsheet

Each linked field reads its own column. Here’s what to put in the cells:

Text box→Whatever the cell says
Dropdown→The option’s visible text, e.g. Express
Checkbox→yes / y / true / 1 / x to tick — no / n / false / 0 to untick
Blank cell on a checkbox→Leaves it as recorded
Starting page→A URL column, if each row opens a different page
{{today}}, {{row}}, {{random}}→Today’s date, the row number or a unique code — no column needed
Real forms are messy

Handles the awkward parts

Fields that appear on a tick

Mark extra fields as “only run if that column is ticked”. On other rows they’re skipped, not failed.

Custom dropdowns

Menus built from divs instead of a real dropdown can be linked to a column too.

Slow sites

Speed settings from Fast to Very slow, and per-step retries for steps that are flaky.

Cookie banners

Run a step only if an element exists, so an occasional pop-up gets dismissed.

Crashes and stops

Progress is saved after every row. Resume from where it stopped, even after restarting the browser.

Confirmation numbers

Add an Extract step and each row’s confirmation number lands in your results sheet.

FAQ

Common questions

How do I auto-fill a web form from Excel?
Record yourself filling the form once with EasyAgent, link each field to a spreadsheet column, paste your rows on the Data tab, and press Run batch. It fills and submits the form once per row.
Does my spreadsheet need a special format?
No. Paste an ordinary table with headers across the top. If you prefer, you can export a template from your macro instead — one row per field, one column per run.
Can it fill dropdowns and checkboxes?
Yes. Put the option’s visible text in a dropdown’s column, and yes/no (or 1/0, true/false, x) in a checkbox’s column.
What if some rows fail?
The run carries on. Afterwards the results sheet shows which rows failed and why, and Retry failed rows re-runs only those.
Will it submit the first row twice after a dry run?
No. After a passing dry run the button changes to Run remaining and starts from row 2.
How many rows can I run?
As many as your sheet has. Rows run one after another in your own browser.
Is my spreadsheet uploaded anywhere?
No. It stays in your browser’s local storage.
