In short: EasyAgent is provided free, as-is, with no warranty. You're responsible for what you use it to automate — including staying within any site's own terms of service and applicable law. We're not liable for what happens as a result of using it.
Acceptance of these terms
By installing or using the EasyAgent browser extension ("EasyAgent", "the extension"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, don't install or use it.
What EasyAgent is
EasyAgent is a free browser extension that records actions you take on a web page (clicks, form entries, checkbox/radio ticks) and replays that recording — on demand, once per row of a spreadsheet you provide, or on a schedule. It runs entirely locally in your own browser. See the Privacy Policy for what it stores and where.
Your responsibility for how you use it
EasyAgent is a general-purpose automation tool — it has no knowledge of what page you point it at or what that page's own rules are. You are solely responsible for:
- making sure your use of EasyAgent complies with the terms of service, acceptable-use policy, and any applicable rules of every website or system you use it against;
- complying with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction, including around automated access, data handling, and the specific systems you automate;
- having the right/authorization to interact with and automate any account, system, or page you point EasyAgent at — including your employer's systems, if applicable;
- reviewing what a macro actually does (especially one that submits, deletes, or changes data) before running it unattended or against real data, and before scheduling it to run repeatedly without supervision.
Some websites prohibit automated interaction entirely. EasyAgent being technically capable of automating a page is not permission to do so — that determination is yours to make.
No warranty
EasyAgent is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that EasyAgent will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will correctly record or replay every action on every website — websites change, and a macro that worked yesterday may not work identically today.
Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no responsibility and no liability for any actions taken, or outcomes caused, by your use of EasyAgent — including but not limited to data loss or corruption, incorrect or duplicate submissions, account suspension or termination by a third-party site, financial loss, or any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind arising from installing, configuring, or running the extension or any macro created with it. You use EasyAgent, and everything it does, entirely at your own risk.
No affiliation
EasyAgent is an independent tool, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, Mozilla, or any website or service you choose to automate with it. Chrome and the Chrome Web Store are trademarks of Google; Firefox and AMO are trademarks of Mozilla.
Intellectual property
EasyAgent and its associated branding are provided for your personal use of the extension as distributed through the Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Changes to the extension or these terms
We may change, suspend, or discontinue EasyAgent, or update these terms, at any time. If these terms change, the "last updated" date above will change too. Continuing to use EasyAgent after an update means you accept the revised terms.
