Use case · Admin panels

Bulk data entry, without the copy and paste

Setting up 200 products, users, promotions or game configs in an admin site that only takes them one at a time? Create the first one while EasyAgent records, paste the rest from a spreadsheet, and it creates every record for you.

FREE · NO API · WORKS IN THE ADMIN SITE YOU ALREADY USE

No import feature? No API? No problem. Most admin sites only let you create records through their own form. EasyAgent uses that same form, in your own browser, signed in as you, so there’s nothing for IT to set up.

Walkthrough

From spreadsheet to finished records

Five steps

  1. 1

Create one record while recording. Open the “new” form, press Start new recording, fill in every field you’ll ever need (tick the optional boxes too) and click Save.

  2. 2

Link fields to columns. Each field step gets a column from your sheet. Dropdowns, including custom ones built from divs, are linked by the option’s visible text.

  3. 3

Paste your rows. Copy them from Excel onto the Data tab, or use the Batch Builder to match your columns to the fields.

  4. 4

Dry run one record. Check it in the admin site. If it’s right, press Run remaining.

  5. 5

Check the results sheet. Every row is marked Done, Failed or Not run, with the reason. Retry just the failed ones.

Optional settings

Fields that only appear when a box is ticked

Config forms are full of these: tick “Bonus” and an amount box appears. Record once with everything switched on, then let one column decide per row.

Bonus cell has a value→Box is ticked and the amount is typed in
Bonus cell is blank→Both steps are skipped, so the box stays as the form left it
How to set it up→On the tick step: Only run if… → A column in my sheet → Bonus → has a value. Then Same condition for the next 1 step.
Prefer yes / no?→Link the box to its own column and use “is ticked” for the extra fields

The parts that usually break other tools

Never half-saved

The Save click is marked while you record. If anything before it fails, the row stops and Save isn’t clicked.

Exact dropdown picks

A linked dropdown must match an option exactly, or the row fails with a clear reason instead of picking the wrong one.

Edit existing records

Link the starting URL to a column, and each row opens its own record’s edit page.

Unique codes

{{row}}, {{random}} and {{today+7}} fill reference codes and start dates without extra columns.

Slow admin sites

Speed from Fast to Very slow, per-step retries, and Step through to find the one step that misbehaves.

Capture the new ID

Add an Extract step after Save, and each record’s new ID lands in your results sheet.

Good to know: EasyAgent drives a real browser tab, so rows run one after another at the speed the site allows. If your admin site already has a CSV import that covers every field, use it.

FAQ

Common questions

Which admin panels does it work with?
Anything you can use in a normal browser tab: a CMS, a shop back office, a CRM, an in-house admin site. EasyAgent drives the page the same way you do, so there’s no API or integration to set up.
Some fields only appear after I tick a box. Can it handle that?
Yes. Record once with the box ticked and the extra fields filled in. Then mark the box and its extra fields as “only run if” a column in your sheet has a value. On rows where that cell is blank, those steps are skipped, not failed.
What happens if a field fails halfway through a record?
EasyAgent marks the Save click while you record. If a step before Save fails, the row stops and Save is never clicked, so you don’t get half-filled records. The results sheet shows which rows failed and why.
Do I need to log in again for every row?
No. EasyAgent runs in your own browser, so it uses the session you’re already signed in with. Log in once before you start the run.
Can each row open a different page, like editing an existing record?
Yes. Link the starting URL to a column, and each row opens its own page, for example the edit page for that record’s ID.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. Your macro and spreadsheet stay in your browser’s local storage. EasyAgent has no server and no account.
